"I am cool. I am the breeze." Alpine Ski Jumping Rocks!

If you missed it, you missed out. Once again, SWSA put together a fantastic event...even with weather challenges, the western alpine jumpers had a fantastic weekend and put on a great show. There is no question that SWSA is a volunteer organization like not other! Thanks to the alpine jumpers, too, for their hard work in prepping the k20 and the big jump.

This author will reserve any editorial comment on the human dog sled race other than to say it was entertaining.

SWSA Updates

SWSA news: Lots of snowmaking going on! Coach Mark will be doing a jump practice at 2:30 Monday, MLK Jr. Day. The K20 is in good shape. Lebanon, NH jump event on Saturday. Empire State Games on February 4th. Salisbury jumping event the weekend of the 28-29 of January! Keep practicing Team SWSA!

Practice from 3-5:30. The charge for this will be $5. Pay upstairs at the snackbar.

8:30 - 9:30 Sign releases, pay, get your bib

9:00 - Hills open for practice

9:55 - National Anthem (if Jon Farnham shows) - or photo op.

10:00 - K10 meet followed by the K18; K34/38

Jumping Awards will be about 20 minutes after the completion of the K38 comp

1:00 Very informal X-C Race

The snack bar will be open for lunch.
